Dear Mr. Doe,
I’m writing this letter to recommend James for the “Employee of the Year” award. James joined us as an Intern and now he is a Software Engineer working with us since last 5 years.
I have worked with James on couple of projects and can definitely vouch for his commitment towards work. James was a part of my team for the ABC Project for 2 years and he has done exceptionally well to make the project success.
James always go an extra mile to reduce the manual efforts and have helped the team reduce the time spent on deployment process from 2 hours to just 10 minutes. He’s also a team player and always comes with a positive attitude to the work. I believe, his innovative thinking and attitude towards work makes him the best suitable candidate for this award.
I hope you will consider James for this award.
Yours sincerely,
John.
