A friend who lives in another country has invited you to come and stay with him/her on your next holiday. You are too busy to accept the invitation. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,

Thank him/her for invitation,
Explain why you cannot come
Ask him/her about other times to visit

Dear Haris,

I’m writing to say my thanks to you for your cordial invitation. Unfortunately, I’m sorry that I can’t get there due to my hectic study schedule.
let me tell you more about it. My last exams of semester are due next week. I’m really hoping to get good grades to meet my parent’s expectations. I have already been experiencing some difficulty in my final project and I need to cope up with it. I am working around the clock and most of my time is spent in library searching good articles related to my main project. I’m disappointed to deny your invitation.
I wonder if you are free this summer. I’ll be free because of my summer holidays. We can plan something exciting. Summer time in Canada is great to visit around the country. Also, we’ll both have no pressure of work due to summer holiday and we’ll enjoy it more profoundly. Please let me know if you are okay with proposed time. I’m sure we’ll make most of it.

I look forward to hearing from you.
yours sincerely,
Sumayya
