The graph illustrates the proportion of British buying different kinds of musical albums based on their sexes and ages.
Overall, Rock is the most popular among three music categories and male purchased more album than that of females in all cases.
In average, the difference of purchased album between man and woman was about 5%. The markets of Pop and Rock music were preferred mostly by young people from 25 to 34 years old. There were slight declines of album consumption in the older generation, followed by a sudden drop at the age older than 45 years old down to 5%.
Classical music made up the smallest proportion in total among all types. However, people who older than 45 years old purchased the highest amount of classical music album at approximately 20%, contrast to the pattern of pop music and rock music. The consumption trend for classical music experienced a significant fluctuation, which reach the first and the second peak at the range of 25 to 34 years old and older than 45 years old respectively.
