A letter to your friend who were traveling overseas, and you were staying at their apartment. There was a storm at that time and the apartment got damaged.
In the letter, you should:
• tell your friend about the storm
• explain how the damage got
• detail what repairs need to be done.
Dear John,
How is your trip going on in Singapore? I hope this letter finds you well. I have sad news for you that last Monday, a storm hit our city. It was a horrifying experience as wind was blowing 150 km/hour. I am sure that you might have received notification on weather forecast app.
Heartbreaking news is that your roof at the back room was damaged as a hung tree branch fall on it. Although the weight of that branch was quite high, damage was only restricted to roof due to strong steel reinforcement.
I have already contacted a local builder to repair the roof. The cost of repair will not be more than Rs. 20000 as per the builder and it will take only three days to correct the damage. Moreover, contractor suggested me to use steel roof instead of asbestos roof, which will cost us Rs. 1000 more.
You do not worry about your house, as I will take care of the repairing process. Let me know your thought whether we should go for steel roof or asbestos roof as soon as you receive this mail.
Regards,
Bibhu
