In recent years, the number of crimes committed by youngsters has increased in major cities throughout the world.
What are the reasons? What solution do you suggest?
It is an irrefutable fact that in some nations, the number of youth involved in committing crimes is staggering at an alarming rate. Such a trend brings out various issues, that need immediate attention. In this essay, we will analyze various reasons for this phenomenon and how it can be solved.
To begin with, due to technology advancements now the youngsters have easy access to unresticted online media channels that are swamped with voilent contents and thriller stories. Additionally, due to changing family structure mostly now a days the youngsters stays with working parents which leads to minimum or no supervison on there actions. Which gradually let them indulge in consumption of illegal substances like druge and at time selling those to drugs to earn easy money. In a research published by university of florida conducted on a group of 350 youngsters it was found that the youngsters who were in supervision of either of parents or grandparents were less likely to exposed to illegal substances.
Althrough, the government of various countries already facing this issue of youngsters habitual committing crime from last decade. However, i believe basic changes at governance level like regulating the online media and on the other hand at ground level such as perents monitoring there child and his activities can somehow helps in controling this trend. moreover, there are various online and offline special interest based schools avalable that youth can be enrolled to improve in the skill of there interest.
In conslusion, althrough juvenile crime ratio is rising at alarming rate due to possible reason such as easy and unristicted acess to online media and drugs.
