There have been several complaints about the reception area where visitors to your company arrive. Your manager has asked you to suggest how the reception area could be improved.
Write a letter to your manager.
In your letter
• describe the complaints that have been made
• say why the reception area is important
• suggest how the reception area could be improved
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ....................,
Dear Mr. Wilson,
I am writing this letter with regards to the complaints which we have received from past few months, about our company reception area.
There were many feedbacks which are mentioned by our clients in log book, who visit our Head office on frequent basis. The most notable complaint is that, the front desk is small and there is only one receptionist at a time. So, when it gets overcrowded, the visitors feel unheeded and there is no enough space to fill out the forms and documentation Also, there is no enough seating space, so clients have to wait on their feet for a longer duration.
As, reception area is face of the company and any queries from visitors to the concerned department, is directed through front desk itself. So, I believe it should not be neglected it.
I would like to suggest some viable solutions, to avoid complaints in future. If possible, we could appoint one more receptionist, so that the work load could be divided. Also, With the help of our project team, we could modify the front desk in such a way, that two front desk executive can be accommodated in that department and also plan the seating area.
I hope you will look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest.
Yours sincerely,
Tim Frank
