There have been some problems with the bus service, especially its reliability, in your area over the last two weeks.
Write a letter to the manager of the bus company. In your letter
• describe what the problems are
• explain how these problems are affecting you
• suggest what you would like the company to do
Dear Mr. Anderson,
I am writing to you to inform about the reduced number of your buses operating in Yorkshire district and the problems we have been facing associated with it. Recently, almost 20 out of your 80 buses have expired fitness certificate, so those are not allowed to run on roads. As a consequence, the currently operational buses are unable maintain the time schedule.
Irrigularities in bus-time have been causing miseries for the citizens as most of the time, the passengers have to wait a long time for the bus. Moreover, as the bus is delayed, a person, standing in the last part of a long queue, can hardly manage to get into the available bus. Citizens are continuously complaining about missing important appointments as well as reaching office late. Since the current situation has been negatively affecting our lives, I expect a quick recovery scheme from your side.
As to fight back the scarcity of bus number, I would suggest your firm to go for immediate purchase of new buses to restore the bus-count to its previous position. Though salvaging the old buses will contribute in financing the purchase, major portion of the purchase can be obtained from local banks.
I look forward to receiving positive feedback from you soon.
With best regards,
Tasnim Fahmi
