Dear Jim,
My name is Hari and I have recently moved to the flat next to yours. I am writing to you with regards to the house warming party that I am planning to have on 22nd August at my residence.
Let me tell you a bit more about the party. I have just finished graduating from Univeristy and this is will be first attempt at living alone, and hence this is a big move in my life. So, I am planning to invite some of my family and friends to a party to celebrate my achievement. We are planning to have a karoake night together and I am worried that it can get a bit loud with the celebrations.
The party is planned to start at 5:00 PM and we will hope to end it by 11:00 PM. I really hope that we will not become too noisy and cause any disturbance. It would be great if you could in fact join the party and it will be a great opportunity to know a more about you and be part of the celebrations.
Please do let me know if this will be of any inconvenience and I will try to make alternative arrangements. I hope to see you at the party.
