write to the airline company about something that you have lost in the flight.
Describe what is that you left behind
why is it so important
what would you like them to do about it
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in connection with my gold watch which I have misplaced during my flight back home to Mumbai from Delhi.
While flying with your airlines last Saturday on flight number 3098B, I kept my watch in the pouch below the tray table. I was seated in 27A and I might have forgotten to pick up the watch. When I reached my house and started unpacking is when I noticed that it was missing.
This watch belonged to my late grandmother and was given to me at my college graduation. I was planning to hand it over to my son, who finishes high school next month. It is, therefore, invaluable to me and would hope to receive it quickly.
I would highly appreciate it if the airline staff can consult with the lost and found department and confirm if they have found my watch. I am attaching a picture of it along with this letter for identification. I would like to request you to please let me know if the item is in your possession.
I look forward to a positive revert and guidelines on how to claim for it at the airport desk.
Yours faithfully
Karishma Dave
