Write a letter to a colleague who gave you a book that helped you with a presentation at work. You should:
– Describe the presentation
– Why was it important
– How did it help you.
Dear Mr. Rick,
I am writing to express my gratitude for lending me your book for my presentation. The book on "Fitness and Diet" proved to be incredibly useful for my presentation.
With regard to the presentation, I had to deliver a two-hour session on the importance of fitness and a healthy diet for my peers. Moreover, the presentation was extremely comprehensive and covered all the aspects of the topic. Everybody liked the presentation and I was highly appreciated for shedding some light on this crucial topic.
As you know, I have recently joined this organization and this was my first session, so I wanted to make an outstanding impression in front of everyone. As it has been said that "The first impression is the last impression". Interestingly, this book not only helped me with the content but also with the organization of the ideas.
In addition to this, I had adopted a few sample fitness routines along with a diet plan from this book to make my presentation look more professional and the Jargons mentioned in the book was a cherry on the cake. Indeed this book was great support from you.
Thank you once again for such great help.
Yours' Sincerely,
James
