Write a letter to a friend who is visiting your country for the first time.
- Tell him the best time of the year to come
- What places they could visit
- Invite them to come to your house
Dear Sam,
How are you doing? Hope the planning for your trip across India is coming along well. I am just writing to you with some suggestions for when you arrive in Mumbai as part of your travel.
I am aware that you plan to spend around six months in india, where you will cover Delhi, Punjab, Hyderabad, Goa, and Mumbai. I would like to advise you to not land here only after the monsoon season is over as it rains very heavily and most of the places are will be shut. The best time to arrive is post November, which is when not only is the weather pleaseant but you will also get to experience festivals such as Diwali and Christmas.
Mumbai has been the financial as well as the arts capital of the country. You can visit various movie sets and if you are lucky, you can catch a glimps of a movie in the making. Other famous sites to visit are the Marine drive and the Sunshine beach. Since they are very close to each other, you can cover both of them in the same day.
I would like to invite you to come stay with us when you are here as my house is perfectly located in the middle of the city and is very close to all these renowend locations. The metro station is also just around the corner and the buses drop you opposite my apartment building. I would love to host you and take you around over the weekend.
I can’t wait to see you! Do let me know the dates once you have booked your tickets.
Best wishes
Karry
