Write a letter to your English speaking friend who is visiting you soon and asking you what presents your family would like. Write
- Who your family consists of
- What kind of presents each member would like.
- How you feel about your friend coming to visit
Dear Mark,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am glad that you are joining us next month to celebrate Diwali. My family is super excited to meet you.
I thought of introducing my family in this letter, I am living with my husband Punit and 10 years old daughter Soham. I know you love kids, and you will enjoy spending time with her.
I understand that you wanted to know what presents my family would cherish. Honestly, as you are coming from Switzerland, I would love it if you could get famous chocolates for my daughter. Although my husband would fancy a watch, I am fond of magnets. Lastly, it's not mandatory for you to get us gifts only your presence will do wonders.
Finally, I am thankful that you found time to plan this trip. It has been a while since we have spent quality time together. I know you have been busy with your projects and deliverables at work. Therefore, it is a marvelous opportunity for you to escape work and spend some relaxed time with me and my family.
Looking forward to seeing you soon and having a safe flight to Lucknow.
Best wishes,
Haseya
