Essay topics:

You and your classmate just received a poor grade on a major school project. One reason for your grade was that your classmate’s family member got very ill. Your classmate was distracted and didn’t contribute as much as was expected.

Write a letter to your professor. In your letter

- Explain why you had to do most of the

work

- Describe how the illness of your

partner’s family member affected the

project

- Say what you hope your professor will

do

Write at least 150 words

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Professor Miller,

Dear Professor Miller,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter with regards to the recent assesment of our project on social behaviour. I would like to bring this to your notice that most part of the project has been done by myself alone as my partner's brother was admitted in the hospital.

As you know, me and rakesh both were assigned for this project. We have discussed and planned most part of the project and assigned work between us. But, unfortunately, rakesh's brother met with an accident; got admitted to the hospital. Because of this, rakesh has spent lots of his time in hospital and our project got hanged in between. Although, I tried my level best to do the project but knowing that it would require both field and paper work; i got fumbled in between and finished it inappropiately.

I would like you to consider this detrimental situation and allow us to re-do our project. So that we can work deligently on it.

Looking forwards for your response.

Yours sincerely,
Sahil sharma
