You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are tuition, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.
Dear Mathew,
Hope this letter finds you in the best of your health. I would inform you that I will be moving to Sydney next month for pursuing my higher studies in Western Australia University. It's a two years Masters degree program followed by an internship of six months. You probably do not know that this will be my first time outside India, I feel nervous and excited at the same time as this will be my first overseas travel, but I feel relieved that you are there to help and guide me.
The university allows me to work as part-time for twenty hours a week. I wanted to work while I study as you are aware of my financial conditions and at the same time don't want to burden my parents with tuition fee.
I remember the last time we spoke, you were working for a retail giant "Wal-Mart" as a Sourcing Head. I wanted to ask for your help to introduce me to some headhunters so that they can line up some interviews for me.
I look forward to your reply at the earliest and meeting you soon in Sydney.
Best wishes
vinshu
