You are living in a University residence and you have a problem with a the high levels of noise. A new campus restaurant which is open late at night. Write a letter to the governor of the University. In your letter
Complain about the situation
Say why this is a problem
And propose ways to reduce the noise
Dear Mr Smith,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the noise coming from the campus restaurant that has just opened.
First, I would like to draw your attention to is the motor bike sound hearing at midnight. secondly, people always talk and laugh loudly, even though they are well aware that the campus is situated just infront of the canteen and even, yesterday quarrel occurred about the noise .
Because of their behavior and the noise they are making, we cannot focus on our education, as we tend to study at that particular time, which is midnight. Moreover, ,since our studies keep us busy and also we are staying in a university residence, it could be extremely frustrating sometimes to either get some sleep or keep our mind calm. Not only does it cause trouble for us, but also my neighbors are affected by this.
I,therefore, suggest that it would be great if signboards were put up in front of the canteen so that customers would keep that in mind. In addition, i believe that reducing the closing time is unconditionally helpful for the students. I hope you will appreciate that. This is a very worrying situation for us all.
Please address this issue as a matter of urgency.
Kind regards,
Kavitha mohan
