You are very disturbed by the noise coming from a restaurant opened nearby recently. Write a letter to the restaurant manager and say
- What problem do you experience?
- What should the management do about it?
- Describe what you will do if the problem is not resolved.
Dear Mr. Jackson,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the noise of your restaurant that disturbed my peace since you have lunched.
To begin with, I should say that I am a student of PhD degree and most of the time I have to do research or analysis my test results. I mean I have to concentrate and this need me to be relaxed in a silent atmosphere. The noise that is made by your staff and your costumer is as loud and annoying that I am not able to focus on my activities. Most of the time, I can hear all the conversation of your outdoor tables’ customers which distract me from what I am doing.
To rectify this situation, I think, you must impose some restrict rules to mitigate the noise pollution of your restaurant. To illustrate, your staff have to speak as low as possible. Also, the number of outdoor tables should be reduced. Besides, if you do not want to decline the number of tables, you can provide me with some anti-noise windows and doors to address this situation.
I hope this problem will receive your immediate attention, otherwise I have to make a claim and ask the court to solve this problem which can result in a high fine of your restaurant.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours Sincerely,
Yalda Asgari.
