You cannot go to a company where you got an offer. Write a letter to the HR supervisor to
1- Explain the reason why you decline the offer
2- Express your gratitude
3- Explain you like your current job very much
Dear Sir,
I am thrilled to receive this offer from your esteemed organisation. It is indeed a great offer as well as the job. I was looking for the same job and the responsibilities to enhance my career. However, I will not be able to accept the same. To elucidate, I am being promoted in my present company with the same package and the job responsibilities. Apart from this, I will be handling the whole Asia-Pacific region which will help me in exploring the overseas opportunities also. so it is better to continue with the same employee.
I have known your company for decades and it was the happiest day when I received the offer. But, I will not be able to honour your offer. I would like to thank your entire recruitment team and express my deepest apology too especially to the interviewer.
I am currently leading some really important on-going projects and want to perform commendably so the entire team and the company should take pride in me.
I look forward to working with you and hoping to get an acknowledgement.
Yours faithfully,
Ben
