You cannot go to a company where you got an offer. Write a letter to the HR supervisor to
1- Explain the reason why you decline the offer
2- Express you gratitude
3- Explain you like your current job very much
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I will be unable to join your company, as per the offer letter, from next month in Bangalore.
I understand that the offer is already signed off but due to recent turn of even, I would not be able to honor my part of the deal. As my wife is working in Bangalore, so I thought it is a great opportunity for me to reunite with my family. But she is getting transferred to Pune and I do not want to jeopardize this chance again.
It was one of the happiest days when I was informed about my selection for your company as I have heard so many good things about the organization. Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to join this time. I want to thank entire recruitment team and express my deepest apology to everyone, especially Mr. Mohan who took my interview.
As a part of negotiation, I have been offered the same exposure as I was supposed to get in your team. So, I am really excited about my new work here. I am extremely sorry that I could not join your firm.
I look forward to receiving your acknowledgement soon.
Yours faithfully,
Sandip Ramani
