Dear Sir or Madam,
I feel the need to inform you about my decision to discontinue the part-time evening course that I had enrolled in the month of June 2018. Allow me to elaborate on the details.
As you know, that most of the students enrolled in the evening courses are working professionals who are in pursuit to broaden their horizons, as such they decide to take up a new course. I had enrolled due to the said reasons. However, I have recently been promoted and transferred to a new city near Detroit which has increased my commutation time from my home to work. Even if I try to make it on time it is practically not feasible for me to drive across the city and make it in time to attend the class.
As such, I have decided that it is not possible for me to continue with the course as I have too much in my plate to juggle and it is not possible for me to deal with so much at this point of time. I am fully satisfied with the course and I am aware that with my discontinuation of the course I will be wasting a precious seat of a deserving candidate and with the admission period over, it will not be possible for you to fill the vacant seat up.
I will not be seeking a refund of the fees that I have paid to the institution, but I have another request to make. I request the institution to accept a friend of mine in the said course in my place for which I shall be utterly grateful. I will share your details with my friend and he will get in touch with you to know the fate of my request. I hope you will consider the said request and oblige me.
I hope to hear a positive response from my friend who will intimate me the decision as made by you.
Yours faithfully,
Brad Jason
