Dear Sir,
I am writing to enquire about the bag I lost yesterday during my train journey by 'Baroda Express'.
I boarded in sleeper class 2 having seat number 57 from Baroda station to reach Bombay. The train was full and there was no space for luggage so I kept the belongings in the area below the seat. In morning when I woke up, I realised that the destination point would take just 5 minutes to arrive. In hustle and bustle of going, I left the bag in the coach itself. It is original leather bag with dark brown colour and metal handle at the top. Moreover, it had laptop and few documents inside, which are extremely important for me.
I would ask the railway staff to announce the lost bag news at each station and investigate the bag at the earliest. If you receive any information about the bag, please contact me on my mobile number 123456789 or mail me on xyz@gmail.com.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
XYZ
