Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I lost my office laptop while travelling on the train yesterday. It is a black acer laptop and was in a brown leather bag. The bag has some stickers of my name and the same is on the laptop, thus making it easier to identify. Additionally, since I use it for work it has a lot of important and confidential information and if fallen in the wrong hands can be misused.
Let me explain in detail. As I boarded the train I placed my laptop in the carrier above my seat and took a short nap. I took that train from Bugis at 5.30 p.m. and it reach Bedok at 6.30 p.m. Thereafter, as soon as my station arrived I got off the train completely forgetting about the bag. On reaching home I realized that my laptop was missing.
Lastly, I would like to request you to take a look at the surveillance cameras installed in all the compartments of the train therefore making the search easier. Moreover, I could not stress enough on the urgency of the situation and help me find my item immediately.
Looking forward to your quick reply.
Yours Sincerely,
Mary Adams
