Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Divya, am writing this letter to seek your assistance regarding the new debit card confirmation. I have received a letter from the ICICI bank yesterday stating that there is a new ATM card along with the 4 digit PIN. But, when I opened the letter, I could not find any.

In detail, I have approached the bank a couple of weeks ago to issue me with a new ATM card as I have the bank account for more than two years now. As per the instructions, I had filled all the details and wrote a letter asking to issue me the card. Now that I have received a letter, I am worried about the card which is missing because by the time I received the letter, it was torn and supposedly someone had stolen it.

I would like to know if somebody has already used the card and spent my money? Will the bank repay me? Is it possible for the bank to cancel this card so that nobody else can use it? Could you also send me a new card by secure means?

I am looking forward to your swift response.

Yours faithfully,
Divyasree Reddy
