Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to apply for the position of a live-in nanny which was recently advertised in one of the prominent Australian magazines.
First of all, I am currently in search of a new job and when I saw the advert, I thought this will be a good experience for me to be a babysitter for an Australian family. Even though I have never been to Australia, I think I will be able to gel nicely with the kid as well as the family members.
Back in my home country, I have ample experience babysitting toddlers as well as grown-up kids. In the last five years, I have worked with six families and all had a glowing review. I find kids to be a bundle of joy and having a close bonding with them gives me immense happiness. Talking about my credentials, I have completed early childcare development from a local institute accredited to the Indian government recently also undertaken an online program of the caregiver.
Being a wanderlust person, Australia has always been a place I have wanted to travel to. In fact, I already know about all the places worth visiting, including the Opera House, the Marine Reef and Bondi beach. There are also a few friends of mine living in the vicinity of your area whom I intend to visit on weekends.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Jocelyn Mascarenhas.
