Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter with reference to the advertisement that was published in an Australian magazine. I understand the job posting is about short term live-in caregiver for your six year old child and I would like to apply for the same.
Firstly, let me explain the reasons why I would like the job. I am a fresh graduate from a journalism university and want to pursue my career in Australia. I am currently unemployed and would be needing a place to stay in Australia while looking for job. This job would be perfect for me as I love kids and will get a roof over my head.
In addition to the above, I am confident I am suitable for the job as I have relevant experience in this field. I have done some part time baby sitting jobs during my college tenure to earn pocket money for my expenditures. Also, I have been part of social services group which focuses on providing baby sitting facilities to working couples. I have more than 6 years of experience in handling kids less than 10 year old.
By the way, I had visited Australia during my internship time and loved the cuisine. I would be spending most of my free time in exploring Australia's culture and cuisine. I am looking forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
Maddy
