You have seen an advertisement for a community college that needs teachers for night classes. Write a letter to the community college. In your letter:
say which advertisement you are answering
describe which course(s) you want to teach, and what it/they would be about
explain why you would be a suitable teacher
Dear sir/madam,
I am writing to express my interest in the post of electronics teacher at your community college for night classes.
Last week, I have seen an advertisement in "The Hindu" which entails the requirement of qualified professionals for various teaching positions at your institute. I am interested in teaching signal processing and MATLAB.
Actually I used to be an assistant professor in an engineering college where I taught these subjects and have nearly five years of experience in MATLAB projects. This language will furnish insights in creating communication devices and I am sure it will benefit students in order to gain practical knowledge regarding the subject. Moreover, at the end of the term, the completion of the project will boost their confidence and enhance a sense of establishment.
I would be really grateful if you could consider me for the job. I have relevant experience and it would my privilege to teach the students. Also, night hours would not be a problem for me as my home is near to the college. I am attaching my résumé for your reference.
I look forward to receiving your response.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Anmol
