Dear Sir,
I am Umayal from Chennai and I recently came across your job vacancy advertisement on weekly newsletter for a tour guide position and I am writing to you to express my interest on the same.
I have recently graduated from my high school and I am looking for a weekend job during summer holidays. Also, taking up this job will add immense value to my resume while, I apply for my college. As, I was born and brought up in this town, I am fully aware of the history and heritage of this wonderful town. In addition I can speak 5 language fluently which can be an advantage. Furthermore, I am physically fit and can stay up on my feet all day long.
In addition, I also have prior experience as a school tour guide, where I got to introduce and explain everything about my school to prospective students and parents. Also, I have worked in a small café in downtown which thought me how to interact with customers.
Hence, I am very certain that I will be a right fit for this position. I am also attaching my resume and other personal details. Hope this will convince you to choose me as a tour guide.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you,
Maya
