Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to show my keen interest in the the position of tour guide as advertised in the local newspaper.

To elucidate I am keen on this role as this is a weekend job and additionally I would like to earn some extra money as I am going through a difficult financial situation. Apart from this I have a Master’s degree in tourism management and around five years of experience taking domestic and international tourists for sight-seeing around our city so I believe that this experience will enable me to do this job.

I am presently working as a tour guide with Marker travels which are one of the famous tour and travel companies in our city and I specialize in handling large groups of foreign visitors as well as domestic visitors and taking them to tourist spots around our city.

I hope you give a due consideration to my application.
