You have some repairs to do at home, but there is a restaurant next to your house. Write a letter to the restaurant manager and say:
- What repairs are you going to do?
- How will it affect the restaurant?
- Provide a solution for the inconvenience.
Dear Sir,
I am living in a house next to your restaurant, therefore, would like to inform you of critical repair and reconstruction works in advance. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate I have recently moved into this house. Since the house was unoccupied for many years thus it needs a repair on outer walls as the walls are ruptured. Additionally, I need to install smoke alarms which is a mandate from the government to detect fire. Although we will our best try not to disturb your daily operations however heavy noise may be generated from these repair works which may cause some inconvenience to your customers. Lastly, the front gate of your restaurant will be blocked by the materials required for the reconstruction and repair works.
Therefore, to mitigate these effects I recommend you advise your customers to use the back gate of your restaurant. Additionally, in case of any minor damage during the repair work, I shall bear the cost.
I look forward to your kind understanding and cooperation.
Yours faithfully
Saad
