You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to study/work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter:
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to study/work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know that I am unhappy with my current living conditions. While the accommodation is good, I am not happy with my current roommate due to his careless behaviour. I hope you will consider my situation favourably.
Let me explain my situation. The problem begun when my previous housemate moved out and was replaced by current one. He stays up late in the night and plays loud music. I have my internship and exams going on, due to his careless behaviour I have to suffer and I am not able sleep and hence cannot concentrate on studies and work.
Would you kindly move my roommate to new room? or maybe, transfer myself to a room where my partner might be little considerate of other person as well. I am fine to move in a single room as well.
Thank you for your kind consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Firdous
