You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know that I am unhappy with the current accommodation provided. This is with regards to the issue I have with my roommate. I hope you will consider my request favourably.
Let me explain my situation. It all started when my housemate moved in last month. The problem is that she plays music so loud and sing along, that I cannot concentrate on the work I do. I tried sorting out the matter but she isn’t listening at all.
Would you please look into the matter with utmost importance. I am ready to accommodate myself into another room where I could find a quieter roommate.
Thanking for your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Jeff
