Essay topics:

You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.

Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,

Describe the situation

Explain your problems and why it is difficult to work

Say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam,

This is regarding the accommodation arrangement provided in the college room. I would like to briefly explain to you about the issues that I face due to this arrangement. I live with another student named Ramya. The room is quite cozy and accommodating more than one person leads to suffocation of materials that both of us have. Initially, we tried adjusting ourselves thinking that we would get used to it, but after certain point of time, a lot of issues have propped up. From leaving all her stuff unclean here and there to spilling eatables everywhere, the whole room is untidy and a mess. The room, already being small looks like a storeroom with no space to walk into. It’s being so exasperating to work under these suffocating conditions. There’s no room for peaceful and refreshing thoughts anymore. The more peaceful an environment is, the more is the positive good vibes around. Living in such an exhausting room leads to depression of mind. I request you to kindly provide me with a separate room accommodation for the reason stated above.

Yours faithfully,
Krithika.
