Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter with regards to train number IN5234, whose timing was changed last week.

My name is Kevin, working as a Senior Executive with Smith Industries located at Jalandhar, which is an industrial area. Since, my office is located 150 miles away from my hometown i.e Amritsar, I had to travel by train. As other options, like travelling by bus or car not only impacts the time but cost also.

From last week, train timings were changed and not only me, but also plethora of people are facing huge difficulties. Moreover, there is no halt for this train before 11in the morning which is disturbing all, even university going students are at home due to non availability. People who commute to office using this train had to work for late hours due to which there family life is suffering.

Although, new buses are allocated for the people of our town but due to cost and distance constraint, there is a need to rethink on the decision of train timing. Earlier train departures at 10 AM but even if it departs early there is a great relief for common people. Moreover, there are some other trains also available that touches Jalandhar and Amritsar, arranging their halt could also work.

I hope you will give due consideration to this letter and take necessary actions for the goodwill of citizens.

Yours faithfully,
Kevin Cook.
