You planned to throw a surprise party for your father on his 60th birthday.
Write a letter to your aunt, in your letter, write-
• Invite her to the surprise party
• Explain why this party means a lot to you
• Say what you want to bring with her
Dear Aunt Molly,
Hope you receive this letter in the best of your health. I am sure you might be aware of the fact that dad is turning 60 next week.
I am planning a surprise party for him, since, none of our festivities are complete without you, therefore I am inviting and informing you well in advance, so that you do not miss the celebration. Moreover, your knowledge of event organization will make the day more manageable.
I am excited about the event and want to make it a memorable one for him. Besides, this would be a way to thank him for his never ending support and being a great friend. Additionally, this might be one of the few chances going forward, that I can spend time with him, considering that fact that soon I will be migrating to Australia for work.
The fact cannot be denied that you and dad share a special bond, so can I request you to bring some old photographs of your childhood and college days. I had an idea of running a short film for him during the evening party, besides present it as a souvenir to him. Last but not the least, will it be possible for you to bring your hand-make cookies, he enjoys them during breakfast.
Looking forward seeing you.
Best Wishes,
Alex
