Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction with not only the faulty electric kettle that I purchased for my kitchen on the 15th of January but also the poor customer service which was rendered to me after I had phoned the store on Hillsborough road to complain.
Although the electric kettle switched on, it could not heat up water to 30 degrees Celsius. Instead, it warmed it and remained at a temperature of just 5 degrees Celsius, which is ineffective. Asides this, I also noticed that the cable wire is broken at the tip, close to the plug, which may result in electrocution.
As soon as I noticed this worrisome fault, I hastily called the customer service at the shop, bitterly explained the situation and emphatically mentioned the importance of their swift response. But to my surprise, nothing has been done till this moment in which I am writing. Yet, I have been receiving only complementary emails from them.
As a solution to this, I would like to demand for either a replacement of the kettle or a refund of my money. Unless you want the police to be involved in the matter, I will suggest that this request should be granted as soon as possible.
