Money is the best gift to give youths . Others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion
Although it is sometimes thought that money is the best gift to present to youths, but some people disagree to this. In my opinion, while I believe that giving young adults money as present is good, offering them academic scholarship is better.
On the one hand, there are some who think that youths are best gifted with money because it would solve the financial problems that they are facing. Indeed, most of these young ones often have difficulties paying house rents, transportation costs and, perhaps, tuition fees while being students. In other words, they usually incur high cost of living which is draining their pockets. So, advocates of this view believe that these finance problems would be tackled if they are given money.
On the other hand, some people believe that gifting scholarship to adolescents is better as it might guarantee their success, and I believe.
At young age, education is a legacy that the majority of youths deserve to have, but many of them cannot afford it, especially the talented ones who are from a poor background. If these youths are offered all-paid tuition and, therefore, have access to quality education, then they would have a better chance in becoming successful individuals. Consequently, not only will the gift guarantee the success of the individuals but also the growth of the country.
In conclusion, while people vary in their opinions, I believe that giving money to young people as gift is good but financing their tuition is better largely due to the immense value that it will add to their lives.
