Dear Jason,
I started writing right after receiving your letter as this is my responsibility to assist you as a friend. As you mentioned, you are in a fix whether to pursue the college or enter the job market, considering your aspects, I would recommend you getting a suitable job as soon as possible.
We have been together since our childhood. You have always been a person of free-will, moreover you intended to commence your own business firm. I don’t think the regulations as well as structured education of a college is suitable for you. You would rather become bored and exhausted than gaining required knowledge for starting business.
Entering a job market offers numerous opportunities to a person, not limited to communication and writing skills. It also provides the employees with vast experience on various arena. If you get a job, you will be able to develop a network among the people of every sectors, which will be an asset for your start-up business.
Starting a business is a critical task, so please ensure that you gather the required skills, abilities and capital before stepping into one. I would suggest you to look for sales job as it trains a salesman to achieve target with limited resource, not to mention the other capabilities you will learn in time.
I hope my letter will help you make the decision. Finally, listen to your mind, where you want to be in future, before deciding. Don’t forget to inform me once you have made your mind.
Take care,
Tasnim
