You recently received your grade from your instructor and you are dissatisfied with your score. Write a letter to your instructor and:

introduce yourself
let him know that you are dissatisfied with your grade
mention the reasons to convince him that you deserve a better grade

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my discontentment with the result of my recent assignment submitted to you last week.

My name is Harpreet, and i am one of the students of your English literature class. Last week, every student got a surprise assignment to prepare and submit within a week, and i got an assignment where i needed to structure all the notorious writers and poets with their areas of expertise, that is to century-wise with a summary of their achievements. Although it was a tough goal to achieve within a week, not only I finished it but also covered every necessary topic. while I did enormous amount of research on the internet, i explored every possible library in my area to make this project a success. However, today i received my grades, and unfortunately, i am not happy with the results. I am really astonished to see a C grade, while i expected no less then at least B+, which is quite reasonable.

Considering all the dedication and hard work, i feel that my finished project deserves a little bit more attention and extra grades. I would request you to please have a thorough check again and reconsider my results.

Thank you for your consideration. I am hoping to hear from you soon.

Regards
Harpreet
