You recently went on a business trip to another country and you faced an issue at the
airport. Write a letter to the airport management and say
- What were the details of your flight?
- What was the problem at the airport?
- Give some suggestions for improvement.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this to bring to your attention the service issues faced during my recent flight from Mumbai to Perth. Along with my two of office colleagues, I flew 9W224, a non-stop flight, scheduled at 21:00 hrs local time from terminal 1. Considering it was international departure, we had reached at the airport well in advance.
Let me explain the problems I faced at the airport. To my utter surprise, there was only one queue for check in which was being used for domestic departures as well. Being a peak time and slow clearance of queue resulted in frustration and arguments between the passengers. To make condition worse, there was lot of hue and cry because of sudden influx of passengers due to delay in departure of earlier scheduled flights.
Would you kindly contemplate to arrange for multiple queues especially when you expect departures to me more than usual. This would not only save time of every person involved but also would better manage unexpected surge of people. In addition, passengers can be well informed to report early to avoid missing flights.
Thank you for your kind consideration.
Yours faithfully
Mohit Kumar
