You saw an advertisement for a tennis course in England but you have some problems and can’t stay for the whole course. Write a letter to the course director. In your letter, explain your interest in the course describe your problems find out whether a refund is possible if you leave early Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in response to an advertisement, which was published in a newspaper a few days ago, where it showed that your tennis academy is offering a short tennis course.
Last week, I was surfing the internet. Fortunately, I came across this post and came to know that you are inviting the applicants for learning intermediate to advance level of Tennis. As I am sporting enthusiastic, I would like to enroll in the Summer Session. It would be beneficial for me to enhance my knowledge
in this field.
However, when I checked the full details, I came to know that it is a five-week course, which could be a bit difficult for me since I would have to return to my country after three weeks. I have got four weeks' vacation from my job which I am planning to utilize in learning tennis.
Therefore, I was just wondering if you allow me to join the course with some sort of guarantee that I would get a partial refund for my course. Otherwise, you can make special arrangements so that I can finish the course in four weeks.
I hope you will take my matter into your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
John Martin.
