You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Your local bookshop has invited members of the public to recommend a guest speaker for an upcoming event that will include a series of talks from well-known people.
Write an e-mail to the bookshop. In your e-mail:
• suggest a speaker
• say what they would contribute to the event
• explain why other people would be interested too
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your e-mail as follows:
Dear...,
Dear Mr.Thomas,
I hope this letter finds you in a great health. Thank you for reaching out to me. It is a pleasure to be a part of our bookshop. Few people who I know can be a better fit for our shop opening ceremony.
But I think Miss Prajakta seems to be perfect as a guest speaker. Although she is an influencer in the social media, she has done some exemplary work. Recently she is been in the acting too. Moreover, her book titled "The sky is the limit" is launched a month ago.
Secondly, her fearless speech and attitude can ispire the viewers. We can take a small interview to know more about her furitful journey. If she is interested, she can accompany with some more inspirational friend who can come over.
At last, her fandom itself could contribute us by promoting the younger as well as people from other age groups. The readers would love to hear more about the latest upgrades to this library. Considering her first book launch, it could also help to promote her book. Therefore, this tie-up could be productive for both of us.
I am looking forward hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Nick
