Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to request my enrollment in the computer course about which I came across in the newspaper today this morning.

I am a mechanical engineering student, however I have always had interest in computer programming. Despite the fact that I do not have any formal degree in computers I have won several informal coding challenges conducted by the infamous coding site "HackerEarth". With time I have gained good knowledge in computer languages like Java, c, c++, and angular by reading concepts over the internet. I immensely want to pursue and learn this course.

Although this course is only for people who have completed the elementary course, I request you to please check if any special exception could be made which would allow me to enroll in the course as I possess the required basic computer skills.
