You went to the local hospital's emergency department with your young child who had severe stomach pains. Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter about the pathetic service I received in an emergency department of such a prestigious hospital.I would like to say it was a horrible experience I ever had.I have a 9-year-old child who had severe stomach pain 4 days before, on Wednesday.When I enquired about a doctor in an emergency,staff at the reception told me no one is available at night.After much requests, and continuous follow-up;they told me to visit an emergency department on the second floor and meet a resident doctor.
To my surprise,even though there were only 2 patients at that time;I had to wait for almost four hours which was a complete shock for us.My daughter's condition was worst and none of them paid any attention to her. Finally after much waiting,a doctor came and treated her.
I would like to mention that please make sure in future,such kind of incidents doesn't happen.It was a question of someone's life and it should not be ignored at any cost.
I hope you will take necessary actions on immediate basis to avoid such incidents.
