Your company sent you to USA for further training. You stayed for the decided time but you want to stay there for more time.
Write a letter to the company manager.
In your letter
- What you have done during the training period.
- What benefits you have received from training
- Why you want to overstay there.

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you that my training on Enterprise Financials would be completed next week. However, I intend to stay for an additional week here to get the certification cleared.

The training was comprehensive and it covered al the modules ranging from Accounts Payables to General Ledger. The trainer was also well versed on the topic and gave us real-world examples which helped us in understanding the concepts with ease. The best part about the training was that we are giving ample time for the hands-on session which gave us more clarity and confidence on the subject matter.

However, I was informed that the certifications exams dates have been postponed for the next week. Since I have to fly back to India this week as per the original plan, I will not be able to sit for the exams. Hence, I am requesting you to extend my stay here in the USA for an additional week.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Govind
