You recently saw an advertisement in a local newspaper regarding some vacancies in a local departmental store/supermarket.
Write a letter to the recruiting officer. In your letter
- The post for which you are applying for
- Give details about your experience
- Why you want to get this job.

Dear Sir,

I am across a job opening for Stores Manager in your departmental store from an advertisement posted in a local newspaper. I am writing this letter to apply for the same.

I am an MBA with specialization in Retail Management with 8 years of experience working as an assistant stores manager in DMART. My role demanded to accurately predict the demand and ensure that the products are ordered well in advance. In addition to it, I was also involved in Quality Check for a brief amount of time. Because of this, I have gained huge exposure in managing retail outlets with considerable efficiency.

Since I am working in a local departmental store with no branches, the scope for learning and development is limited. Hence, I am applying in your store as it is multinational stores and it will give me new learning opportunities and to further improve my skills and experience.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours Faithfully,
Nilesh J Pandey
