Your friend's son is going to your country for his holiday, she want him to stay in your home. But you can't accommodate him. Write letter for your friend.
In the letter, you should:
• apology to your friend
• explain why he cannot stay in your home
• give her suggestion for her son arrangement during his holiday
Dear Sujan,
I am extremely happy to receive a letter from you after a long time. I hope you and your family are well. However, I deeply regret that I will not able to accommodate you son, Ravi, in my house during his upcoming visit to India. I wish I could have accommodated your son in my apartment.
As you know, I am staying alone in India and I have to travel to another city due to some official work during that period. Moreover, I am going to renovate my house during my absence as I have given a contract to an interior designer. Otherwise, I could have handed of my room keys to your son. I tried to postpone my renovation work, but contractor denied clearly.
Instead, I can arrange his accommodation in one of my friend’s house as he will be travelling with me and his house will be empty during that period. I have already asked him about this possibility and he agreed upon it. I will make sure your son’s pleasant stay in city even though I will not present.
Hope, you will be happy with my changes and do not worry about his safety.
Regards,
Bibhu Kalita
