Describe the possible effects on local people if the centre closes
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request you to reconsider your decision to close the AAA sports and leisure centre in our community due to monetary reasons.
Firstly, my family go to this place for various activities. My wife and my daughter take yoga lessons at gyms area every day. I and my son use sports facilities like swimming pool and tennis court frequently.
Secondly, there are only two such leisure and sport centres for 3 thousand people in our community. We are still in need of more recreation centres for the benefits of the community like safe places for children to play freely and favourite spot for community members to build up relationships. Closure of this centre will be shocking news for us.
Finally, if the council still goes ahead with the closure decision, it will deeply affect the neighborhood both physically and mentally. Teenagers could get involved in unsuitable activities and in unsafe places, adults will be difficult to socialize.
Please reconsider your decision for the sake of our community.
Yours faithfully,
Patrick Love
