1. Q : Art and musics should not be mandatory at school, agree/disagree?

It is argued that in schools, art and music should not be compulsory. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this statement, because these subjects are helpful for students to enhance their academic performance and help them to overcome stress.

Firstly, art undoubtedly plays an important role in the development of creative thinking. when students express their ideas and thoughts through artwork, it increases their confidence as well as academic performance. On the other hand, when they learn something through artistic means, like drawing a picture or writing a song, the information is embedded in their minds for a long time. Recent research shows that students who study art are 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement and 3 times more likely to be awarded for school attendance. Music and other art courses are important for making students perform better academically.

In recent times many students face study pressure . As, in many schools, teachers give more importance to maths and science subjects, as a result, it affects the mental health of candidates. If drawing, the painting will introduce in educational institutes, it helps students to spent time something that’s not related to perfection. Research shows that south Korea have more suicide rate of students because they are not able to study art courses. In order to fit mentally, students have to take music and drawing courses.
In conclusion, art and music at school are significantly important for better student’s performance as well as it is the best way for students to unwind their stress.
