Education of young people is highly prioritised in many countries. However, educating adults who can not read and write is even more important and government spent more money on this . To What extent do you agree or disagree
In our modern area, education is most important in the development of a country. Every individual has the right to education. However, it is argued that education for young people is highly prioritized, while others think that government should spend more money on the education of adults who can not read and write. Personally, I disagree with those arguments as both of them are equally important.
On the one hand, there are several positive aspects to persuade that young people’s education play a vital role. Firstly, young people are able to grasp knowledge more quickly than the old. youngsters are more intelligent and innovative than adults. Thus, they can use modern technologies to learn effectively and easily. Secondly, the investment in education of young people is an investment in the future of the nation. For instance, many modern equipments which are invested in high school and colleges will help students get acquainted with and utilize the technology when they go to work in future. It is easy for them to apply knowledge and skills in their work and life. Young people are expected leaders of a nation, that’s educating them necessary for the growth of a country.
On the other hand, education of adults is also requirement. In fact, a nation is unable to prospect when the number of illiterate people is high. The government’ expenditure is spent to cut the illiteracy of the old people seem reasonable. Besides, the older persons need to know basic literacy skills about their first language so that they feel confident and do many things around them independently. For example, if they are able to read and understand what means of warning table on the road, they will not get any hard problem in traffic
In short, both of these aforementioned factors should be equally and simultaneously developed by government due to the education of any individual is essential for the growth of a nation.
