Many believe that living in a city offers greater benefits compared to life in the countryside. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
The living environment plays a crucial role in the development of children. There are arguments regarding which environment will deliver greater benefits for children: the city or the countryside. In my opinion, living in the city will offer numerous advantages for children. My reasons will be elucidated in the following paragraphs.
First and foremost, children who live in urban areas will have superior physical development due to better medical care services. For example, there are a number of children’s hospitals, children’s health care centers, and children’s counseling centers to take care of children's health. These factors, when combined with convenient transportation, make accessing these facilities more convenient. Second, in the city, children can access the best education systems, such as international schools, privileged private schools, and prominent language institutes. These places will provide them with the best conditions for their studies. Finally, after long hours of studying, there are numerous of modern cinemas, ice skating courses, and game centers in the city for their recreation to reduce stress and recharge energy. This will aid their physical and mental growth.
Admittedly, children who are brought up in the countryside have certain benefits. For instance, more access to fresh air, proximity to nature, and outdoor recreation. However, there are more educational and health care options in the city, which will help them be healthier, achieve greater academic success, and provide a wide range of skills that will help them succeed in their future careers.
In conclusion, for children, being healthy and being well-educated are essential. There are more facilities and conditions available in the city to meet these requirements.
