The maps show the changes made to a small museum and its surroundings in 1990 and 2010
The maps shed lights on how the museum had been transformed during the 20-year period, in 1990 and 2010.
As can be seen from the maps, the area had experienced a significant modification in its overall layout. What is most noticeable is the extension of the parking space and the replacement of some amenities.
Considering the outside space of the museum, time period witnessed the disappearance of the South-East garden with a view to make way for the expansion of the parking area. Along with the garden, the area which used to be a cottage in 1990 had been conversed into a coffee shop.
In terms of the inside facilities, while the entrance and restaurants were kept intact during the mention period, the shop had been widened to the West boundary, hence, sized down the space for the existing exhibition room. The exhibition area in the corner, to the right of the entrance, which was separated as two in 1990 had been merged into one in 2010.
